Hockey Rules
Wagering on Hockey is done by laying or taking money-line odds. The minus (-) indicates the Favorite and the plus (+) indicates the Underdog..
For example
| Flyers +120 |
| Devils -140 |
The Player would lay $140 to win $100 on the Devils. Player would wager
$100 and get $120 on the flyers.
When a game has a moneyline higer then $200
it will have a puckline
For example:
Let's say Hurricanes and Flyers are playing today.
Moneyline on Hurricanes is - 280. This game will have a puckline which would be:
| Flyers +1 ½ - 115 | + 240 |
| Devils -140 | -280 |
This gives you a good option when a moneyline is really high.
In this case you can take Hurricanes -1½ -105 . This means that the Hurricanes must win the game by more them one and half for you
to win your bet ibut you would lay $100 in case that you would've taken the moneulie.
Puckline/moneyline to total allowed on parlays only when the total of the game is higher than 5 ½.
