Pleasers
PLEASERS:
Also known as a Reverse Teaser, a Pleaser is a group of picks combined into one bet for higher payoff odds, like a Parlay. The difference between a Pleaser and a Teaser is that with a Pleaser, the line you bet against for each individual wager is moved against your favor by 6 points. In other words, a Pleaser is similar to a teaser except that with a pleaser you GIVE AWAY points instead of receiving points. If the regular line is -10 your line with the pleaser would be -16.
Example
| 6 Point Football Pleasers | ||
| No. of Teams | Odds | Payouts for a $100 bet |
| 2 Teams | 6/1 | $100 to win $600 |
| 3 Teams | 17/1 | $100 to win $1700 |
| 4 Teams | 45/1 | $100 to win $4500 |
| 5 Teams | 120/1 | $100 to win $12000 |
| 6 Teams | 300/1 | $100 to win $30000 |
Example
| Teams | Line | Price | Total | Price |
| San Diego Chargers | +7 ½ | -110 | 45 | -110 |
| Oakland Raiders | -7 | -110 | 43 | -110 |
| Dallas Cowboys | -9 | -110 | 38 | -110 |
| Arizona Cardinals | +2 | -110 | 48 | -110 |
Bet example: 3-Team 6 point Football Pleaser
Original lines San Diego Chargers +7 ½, Oakland Raiders -7, Arizona Cardinals +2
Pleased Lines San Diego Chargers +1 ½, Oakland Raiders -13, Arizona Cardinals -4
Risking $100. to win $1700.
Essentially, you make it more difficult for each bet in the Pleaser to win in return for payoff odds nearly 3 times higher than normal parlay odds. This is the exact opposite of a Teaser. In order to win with a Pleaser, all the bets must win by the new adjusted line. This bet is an excellent way to maximize winnings in games where the lines do not accurately predict the true outcome.
Pleaser Rules
• All bets included in the Pleaser must win for the pleaser to win and pay off.
• You may only please the complete game on the spread or the total, not any fraction of the game (first half, half time, quarters, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 bets, maximum of 6.
• Circled contests may not be included in a Pleaser.
• In the event one of the contests included in a Pleaser is canceled or postponed, that contest will be removed from the Pleaser and the remaining contests will constitute the Pleaser (i.e. 3 wager Pleaser will revert to a 2 bet Pleaser). If the initial Pleaser only involves 2 contests or 2 bets on the same contest then the Pleaser will be canceled and all wagers refunded.
• Buying points are not allowed on Pleasers.
• There is a $2,000 limit on Pleasers.
• No open spots.
